Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 1889 in Allahabad. At age of 15, he went to England to study law and began to practice lawyer at Allahabad High Court. However, he gave up and joined the freedom movement under Mahatma Ghandi.In 1947, when India free, he was elected as First prime Minister. His birthday is now was celebrated as Children's Day as he loved children and was called as Chacha Nehru with love.
