Noddy Goes to Toyland

This first book explains Noddy's origins. It tells of how he was made by a wood carver but ran away soon after when the man began carving a lion, which scared Noddy. He first encounters Big Ears, a friendly brownie, in the wood and moves with him to Toyland.
