I was really excited to start Casting Shadows and I'm glad it lived up to my expectations. Sophie McKenzie really up'd the ant with this book and just when you thought things couldn't get worse - they do. I loved that while reading this I was full of suspense. I wasn't sure what was coming but when it did, it was so emotional!
'Defy the Stars' concludes a heart-breaking and emotional series of books about first love from one of my favourite British authors. This is quite a different book in the series, veering on the side of being a thriller which I thought made it even more exciting
The Set-Up is a good introduction to Sophie McKenzie's world of the Medusa Project: a project that left four teenagers with psychic abilities. Set in several UK locations, it alternates between action and adventure, the supernatural and teen drama.
Fourteen years ago, four babies were implanted with the Medusa gene - a gene for psychic abilities. Now teenagers, Nico, Ketty, Ed and Dylan have been brought together by government agents to create a secret crime-fighting force.
The Rescue is the third book in the Medusa project. It is narrated by Ed, an acedemic boy trying to deal with the fact he can read minds. I think 'The Rescue' doesn't quite work as well as the first book, because it seems to be a much more complex plot, which may appeal to some but I don't think the complicated plot really adds anything.
This is an amazing book –You will really enjoyed the whole series and found them very easy to get into. the characters are very easy to relate to and you will read this book multiple times! it met expectations as it was full of cliff-hangers.
Narrated by Nico, Double-Cross is full of telekinetic action as the Medusa Project team arrive in Sydney, Australia, for another exciting mission - and come face-to-face with two more Medusa teens: Cal, a boy who can fly, and Amy, a girl who can shape shift.
Hit Squad by Sophie McKenzie. I've thoroughly loved this series and it looks like this is the last one. It is as exciting and action packed as the previous ones. The Super Powered group come up against old foes Foster and Jack Linden.
I propose you should read "girl missing" by Sophie McKenzie, because it is worth reading. This because it is a good book. It only took a day to read because this story couldn't we put the book down-it was too interesting.
